New Ing Lodge Timeline
2008
March - Wall papered, painted and carperted room 2
April - Added 2 toilets, 2 showers and small kitchen on 2nd floor for dorm rooms
May - Took off damaged roof, new supports built with the expert help of Mr M Kitchen the end wall before re tiling the whole roof- to become laundry
June - Stripped, replastered and carpeted room 4
July - Scaffolding up, sorted all guttering at the front of the building and replaced afew tiles on main building.
August - Stripped, replastered and carpeted room 3
September - Built first chicken hut for 10 rescue chickens, argualbly the best to date, also plasered the exterior wall in room 8 and gave the room a quick lick of paint.
October - Added a new wall & door in loft for Jamies Room
November - Added a door to Jamies/current laundry room, also renovated fist floor shower, binned the carperts, bring in a much better shower!
December - Stipped back windowsils between ground & 1st & first & 2nd floor before painting (wrong choice painting- may have to do this again, err!)
2009
January - Started the long process of stripping all the door frames in the building, still have the interoir of rooms 3&4 to go in August 2010, There is alot of these!
February - Replasered 2nd floor corridor and painted reflective pink!
March - Painted barn doors & majority of outhouse doors
April - New window and door in laundry
May - 6 new fire doors on 2nd floor
June - Laid floor in laundry
July - Added 2 plastic shower backs to 2 of the showers.
August - New commercial kitchen, done.
September - rendered, insulated & painted inside laundry
October - rendered outside toilet
2010
January - Added our online reservations system and painted laundry and Scott finally sanded his floor and painted the walls!
Febuary - Bought new washing machine, dryer and press, yippie, alot let time spent out there! Also painted room 5
March - Stripped, replastered and carpeted room 1
April - New mains water pipe from 45m in field [read more]
May - 9 new fire doors on ground and 1st floor
June - Separated field to for chicken run and to allow storage of wood and for possiblity of more campers in the future.
