New Ing Lodge operates as a serviced bed and breakfast from March to October and a self-catering accommodation for the rest of the year.
We have 10 bed and breakfast rooms, which are on the first and second and third floor of the building. There are 4 double rooms (2 en suites and 2 with private external bathrooms), 2 family en suites, 2 twin rooms (1 en suite and 1 private external bathroom) and 2 triple en-suites.
Our guests may find a selection of fairtrade teas and coffee as well as kettles waiting for them in all the rooms and also information about local facilities.
We serve usually our breakfast between 7am and 9am in the morning and offer a full English, full vegetarian, green eggs or avocado and egg on toast.
You can also order a packed lunch for the next morning on the night before.
We have a residents’ bar The Staggering Wanderer with local beers on tap and other drinks available.
The bar is open until 8:00 o’clock on most evenings. There is also a comfortable communal lounge located on the ground floor with a wood burning stove, which is a great place to relax after a day in the hills.

We have a 4-bedded dormitory rooms located on the second floor that we sell for sole use only (not shared). The room has its own newly renovated bathrooms just across the corridor.
Bedding is provided and included in the price of all the dormitory beds. The price is £55 for one person, £70 for 2 people, £90 for 3 people or £105 for 4 people (no breakfast included).
We don’t have any self-catering facilities available for the dorm guests.
We have camping grounds for up to 15 happy campers per night in our back garden. Camping is £8 per person per night and includes the use of a shower and toilet room in one of the outbuildings.
We have levelled grounds and picnic tables and plenty of room to ensure you have a great camping experience.
Both our dormitory guests and campers are more than welcome to have their breakfasts with us (subject to availability) and order packed lunches for the next morning.

New Ing Lodge is open for whole house hire all year and is ideal for large groups interested in walking, cycling, outdoor activities or for families simply looking for a peaceful retreat on the edge of the Lake District National Park.
The whole house hire includes the exclusive use of the building and grounds with everything you may need for your stay.

New Ing Lodge accommodates up to 30 people in 11 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, the room layout being the following:
- 2 x doubles rooms with private bathrooms
- 2 x double en suites
- 2 x triple en suites
- 1 x twin en suite
- 1 x twin with a private bathroom
- 2 x family en suite
- 1 x 4 bedded dormitory room
In addition to the guest bedrooms, there is a comfortable living room with a wood burning stove, a dining room which can comfortably sit 24, and a large kitchen with a 5-ring gas hob and plenty of fridge space.
When you take the exclusive use of New Ing Lodge, you can have access to our bar, which we can stock for you, if required, with hand-pulled local real ales and/or pilsner lager.
