New Ing Lodge offers comfort with a modern style in the Lake District National Park at an affordable price. We believe that a stay in the English Lake District should offer tranquillity and serenity in a beautiful environment.

Our Hostel is on the second floor of New Ing Lodge. We have a male and female bunkroom as well as a couple of smaller rooms. There are showers and toilets, as well as a small kitchen area and common room.

Beds are £12.50 per person without bedding, or £14 with bedding. We offer reductions for larger groups and for longer stays, please enquire.

Should you want it, we can do breakfast and other meals for you. Full Cumbrian Breakfast is £6, and a sausage, bacon, egg or bean sandwich is £4. There is a vegetarian option also. Packed lunches are £5. Evening meals by request.

We have mountain bikes for hire from the Lodge. The area is superb for biking with some of the best riding in the country. For our guests, we offer a special rate of £7 for a half day, and £12 for a full days hire. We will give you all the information you need about routes.

We can also help with other activities and local visits as well.
