We've Been Busy Renovating
We have had another busy winter again renovating and decorating. Read all about how we have been keeping busy and improving New Ing Lodge in preparation for all our guests!
Two more of our guest rooms have had new cellings put in to deaden any noise travel between floors after a couple of compaints about this within the last year. We have also redecorated at the end of last year in our front room, please see pictures - again we did most of the work ourselfs and are super happy with the outcome. We have added a log burner which has been running every day since it went in and a 4 meter width map off the area arround us within the UK for all the coast to coasters to ponder over, I am struggling to pull myself away from it! We are looking forward to a busy summer again and have a few more ideas for this winter to keep us busy, such as adding a wood burning boiler - we have said it for 3 years now and its time to put one in, we are not going to us any more oil and become as carbon neutral as possible! Lovely Leigh-ann has started planting in our 3 vegi plots, we have some green peas poking and have planted our early spuds. We are looking forward at another great sellection of home grown veg this year. We also planted a 70m fruit hedge early in the month so fingers crossed that it has started to grow strong, we cant wait for homemade jams and drinks from this, maybe next year tho.
